    Botulinum Toxin Type A temporarily stops the nerve impulses that trigger the muscles to contract causing the wrinkle to form. The result is a smoother appearance on the skin.

    Botulinum Toxin Type A is a prescription only medication and therefore all patients are required to have a face to face consultation with Claire. in order to assess their suitability for this treatment.


  • When will I see the results of the treatment?

    The medication takes 10-14 days to take effect and over that time you will notice a reduction in the 

    strength of the muscle contraction. Claire will see you for a face to face review at around day 14 to assess treatment results.


  • How long do the results last?

    Treatment results and longevity vary from patient to patient but on average the treatment lasts three

    to four months


  • How many areas will I need?

    This will be discussed and agreed with you at your consultation

  • What about aftercare?

    Claire will ensure you have full verbal and written aftercare following your treatment. Claire advises that If you are planning on having the treatment before an event or a holiday that you plan your treatment 2-3 Weeks before.
