MICRO NEEDLING

Microneedling is the use of tiny needles in the SkinPen® Precision device to penetrate through the skin to induce the body’s natural wound healing process. This results in hundreds of micro channels in the skin which stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin fibres. This increased production of natural fibres within the skin means the treatment is highly effective at treating scars such as acne scarring, pigmentation, stretch marks as well as fine lines and wrinkles. Resulting in smoother firmer and more toned skin
  • How many treatments will I need?

    Depending on your individual skin concerns treatments can be one single treatment or a course of three to six treatments. A full skin analysis will be undertaken prior to treatment.


  • What is the downtime after treatment?

    Your skin will be red immediately after treatment and can flake for a few days, this will vary from patient To patient. Make up can be applied the following day.



  • Is the treatment painful?

    The treatment is usually well tolerated, some patients experience a small amount of discomfort.

    Topical numbing cream is applied prior to treatment to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.
